Sometimes my mom makes comments like, "Why aren't you staying in town longer?" or "Why don't you use more vacation to come home?" The highlight of my day today was watching the Sumo World Championship on ESPN2. I didn't know that white guys compete in stuff like that. The Bulgarians were kicking butt. |

It's true. The Japanese are very put out about the fact that the number one ranking sumo wrestler is Mongolian and the Bulgarians and other non-Japanese are doing so well. So much for the "traditional Japanese sport," they say.
I thought baseball has become the traditional Japanese sport...or battle pencils.
