Kate Earl - girl pouring her heart out on piano. People were being assholes during her set. Met her, she was very little and sweet. Overall = good.
Matt Wertz - popped collar BC reject. Floppy hair and bad lyrics. Threw in some U2 "One" and almost vomitted in my mouth as result of his audacity. Fans were drunk frat jackasses. Overall = bad
Matt Nathanson - always fun, always swearing, always amazing on stage. Dedicated song to Lindsay Lohan. Played old songs and some brand new. All good. Sang Duran Duran and Grease, and a few lines from R.Kelly "Trappend In The closet." Overall = the shit.
We missed most of her set, but I know she played "Hero" and a song about her little brother ("When You're Older" maybe). Linds bought her CD so I will be more familiar with her song list in a few days.

Beth and I were wondering if you would go see MN...he'll be famous soon. It's better to go now before the ticket prices get jacked up anyway.
Why is he suddenly going to hit it big? Check out the music of Kate Earl though.
I emailed Beth's brother and asked him if he wants to meet me at the concert, but he hasn't replied yet.

Did Kate play "Officer"? My NPR station is always playing it. Sometimes I dance to it, if noone else is around.
