I can't remember the melody.

It's a little wild and a little strange...
when you make your home out on the range.
Start your horse and come along..
Cause you can't get a ride if you can't hold on
Singin, yippee kai aie ay. (Yippee kai aie what?)
Like the cowboys say. (Sing it again now.)
Yippee kai aie ay.
'Till the break of day.
You'd better watch out for those man-eating jackrabbits... And that killer cacti....
Hey Duuuuuude

I remember the melody
also a favorite: the theme from Salute Your Shorts

(Revelry)
We run and jump and swim and play
We row and go on trips
But the things that last forever
Are our dear friendships

Camp Onawana,
We hold you in our hearts
And when we think about you
(It makes me wanna fart!)
(It's "I hope we never part, now get it right or pay the price!)

Now we will share a lifetime
Of the fondest memories
By the lake of Onawana
Set in the old pine trees

Camp Ona..
We hold you our hearts
But when we think about you
..(this thing came apart)

Think Onawana-wana Speak Onawana-wana Live Onawana-wana UGH!

I don't remember a coyote. I do remember the one where Jake scared Lucy Lawless a bunch of times, then she retaliated with lame pranks, but then succeeded in scaring him and then to get back he dressed as a mummy and hid in the watering trough. Oh, and the one where everybody hit each other with foam bats because it was "theraputic"

Hey Donny,

I came across your blog via Laura's site.

Your post about "Hey Dude" got it stuck in my head and I did a search for the theme song. if you go here

http://retrojunk.com/details_theme/249/?PHPSESSID=cc7911b62535956556188024d7c1f0d2

you can see the opening with the theme song.

(I think the coyote came at the end of the closing credits, if memory serves.)
